Agroforestry

Agroforestry intentionally combines agriculture and forestry to create integrated and sustainable land-use systems. Agroforestry takes advantage of the interactive benefits from combining trees and shrubs with crops and/or livestock. Green Tree Foundation is promoting and implementing agroforestry techniques. Backyard Horticulture

Each house hold is provided  with benefitial  plants that yield fruit, shade and fiber or wood for the family. The households take care of watering, protecting and feeding the plants. The residents use the back water for watering, feed the plants with organic wastes and protect the trees from being bitten by their live stock.
